Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains which cookies DILO-ONLINE uses, why they are necessary and how you can manage your cookie preferences.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that may be stored on your computer, tablet or phone when you visit a website. During a subsequent visit, the website can recognise the information stored in these files.

In addition to cookies, websites may use similar technologies, such as local storage or scripts. For readability, these technologies are collectively referred to as cookies in this Cookie Policy.

Cookies may, for example, be necessary to ensure that a website functions properly, to remember preferences or to gain insight into how a website is used.

DILO-ONLINE does not use analytics cookies or marketing cookies.

For privacy-friendly website statistics, DILO-ONLINE uses Burst Statistics in cookieless mode. No cookies are placed for this purpose and no browser fingerprinting is used. Visitors are not recognised across different days or sessions.

2. What types of cookies does DILO-ONLINE use?

At present, the DILO-ONLINE website only uses necessary and functional cookies. These cookies are required to ensure that the website functions properly and to remember visitors’ cookie preferences.

  • Necessary cookies: these support the basic technical functions and secure operation of the website.
  • Preference cookies: these remember the cookie choices you have made via the cookie banner, so that the website does not need to ask for your choice again on every visit.

These cookies are not used to track visitors for advertising purposes or to create personal profiles.

DILO-ONLINE currently does not use analytics cookies or marketing cookies. If such cookies are added in the future, they will only be placed in accordance with the applicable consent requirements. This Cookie Policy and the cookie banner will then be updated accordingly.

The cookie settings do not apply to Burst Statistics, because this website analytics tool operates without cookies. If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, your visit will not be included in the statistics.

3. How can you manage your cookie preferences?

Through the cookie banner, you can view information about the cookies used and manage your cookie preferences.

Necessary cookies are required for the technical operation and security of the website and therefore cannot be disabled through the cookie banner.

If DILO-ONLINE uses optional cookies in the future, such as analytics or marketing cookies, you will be able to accept or reject them through the cookie banner. You will also be able to review and change a previously made choice at a later time.

You can also delete or block cookies through your internet browser settings. Please note that blocking necessary cookies may cause certain parts of the website to stop working properly.

Burst Statistics processes website statistics locally within DILO-ONLINE’s WordPress installation. Statistical data is not sent to advertising networks. The sharing of anonymous usage data with Burst Statistics is disabled.

4. Third-party cookies and external services

The website may use services provided by third parties. When such services are activated, these parties may use cookies or similar technologies.

At present, Google Analytics, advertising pixels, embedded YouTube videos and Google Maps are not activated on the DILO-ONLINE website.

If DILO-ONLINE adds Google Analytics, embedded videos, advertising services or other external applications in the future, the related optional cookies and scripts will only be activated in accordance with the applicable consent requirements.

The Cookie Policy and cookie banner will then be updated with information about the relevant service provider, the purpose of the cookies and the applicable retention period.
